About Us

A High Silica Fabric Manufacturer, Not a Trading Desk

Bright Sky New Material Co Ltd has been producing high temperature resistant materials in Jiaxing, Zhejiang since 2010, under the SilicaPro brand. Everything we sell is woven, treated and coated at our own plant, and around three quarters of it leaves China.

  • 2010 Year established
  • 100-120 People employed
  • 70-80% Of output exported
  • 96%+ SiO2 in our core cloth
The Company

Bright Sky New Material Co Ltd

We are based in Jiaxing City, Zhejiang Province, at the centre of the Yangtze River Delta and just north of the Hangzhou Bay Bridge. The location matters more than it sounds: it puts us within easy road distance of both Shanghai and Ningbo ports, which is why our export lead times hold up.

The business began around high silica fibre and has stayed there. Rather than broadening into unrelated materials, we went deeper, adding fiberglass coating production lines and product processing workshops so that a customer wanting a treated fabric or a finished blanket does not have to go elsewhere for the second step.

Alongside production we work with several universities and research institutes on aerogels, microporous nano boards and high silica needle felts. That side of the business is small in volume and large in what it teaches us, because materials research surfaces problems that routine production never would.

Our focus is industrial ultra high temperature special fibre technology, centred on high silica fiberglass series products and the coating processing of fiberglass cloth. That sentence describes a narrow field, and the narrowness is deliberate.

What Owning the Plant Actually Changes

Plenty of companies in this industry will quote you a high silica fabric. Fewer of them made it. Three practical differences follow from that.

A batch can be traced

When something is wrong, we can identify the treatment tank, the loom and the shift it came from. A trading company can only forward your complaint upstream and wait for an answer.

Testing happens here

Silica content, loss on ignition and abrasion resistance are measured in our own laboratory rather than taken from a supplier certificate we did not witness.

Cloth and product are specified together

An OEM programme can specify the base fabric as well as the finished blanket. That is difficult to arrange when weaving and sewing sit at two different companies.

Inside the Plant

From Treated Yarn to Finished Goods

High silica is not simply a grade of fiberglass. It is glass fibre chemically leached until almost everything but silica is gone, then rewoven and heat stabilised. These photographs are from our own plant.

What We Make

Eleven product lines, all within the same narrow field of high temperature resistant materials.

Product Where it is used
High Silica Fiberglass Cloth Welding and fire blankets, furnace insulation, expansion joints, heat shields
Quartz Fiber Aerospace radomes, precision electrical insulation, ultra high temperature work
High Silica Chopped Yarn Refractory castables, friction materials, composite reinforcement
High Temperature Sewing Thread Stitching welding blankets, insulation jackets and removable covers
Fireproof Cloth Fire curtains, shields, protective covers, welding screens
Silicone Cloth Removable insulation jackets, expansion joints, abrasion exposed positions
Nano-Microporous Insulation Board Furnace and kiln linings, battery pack barriers, thin section insulation
Para-Aramid Fabric Protective clothing, gloves, cut resistant reinforcement
Para-Aramid Yarn Fire-Proof Weaving, knitting and sewing where flame resistance and strength are both needed
Para-Aramid Short Staple Fiber Friction materials, gaskets, sealing products, reinforcement compounds
Finished Products Fire blankets, welding blankets, curtains, sleeves and covers, OEM and private label

Where Our Materials Go

Between 70 and 80 percent of what we produce is exported. That figure matters to a first time buyer more than any marketing claim, because a plant shipping at that ratio is already used to the documentation, packing and inspection that international orders demand.

North America

United States and Canada, largely welding and fire protection products alongside industrial insulation fabric.

Europe

Western and Eastern Europe, where buyers most often arrive with a specific standard they need the material to meet.

Middle East

Petrochemical and refinery work, particularly removable insulation covers for valves and flanges.

Asia Pacific

South Korea, Japan, India, Taiwan and Southeast Asia, across shipbuilding, kilns and automotive production.

Our materials are used in power plants and nuclear facilities, aerospace, industrial kilns, petrochemical plants, large building projects, drilling platforms, automobile production, shipbuilding and new material development. If your application sits outside that list, it is still worth asking. The question we can answer usefully is not what industry you are in but what temperature the material has to survive.

How We Work

Our stated business philosophy is professional, friendly and win-win. Here is what those three words look like in a working week.

Professional

We answer technical questions with numbers rather than reassurance. If you ask for loss on ignition data, an abrasion figure or a chemical analysis, you get it. If we do not have a figure, we say so instead of estimating.

Friendly

Buyers new to high temperature materials should not have to already know the answer to ask the question. Send an operating temperature and a description of the problem, and we will work out the specification with you.

Win-win

Sometimes the right recommendation is the cheaper material. Telling a buyer that coated fiberglass will do the job costs us margin on that order and tends to be why they come back for the next one.

Tell Us the Temperature and We Will Recommend the Material

Send your operating conditions, required thickness and width, and destination market. We reply with a specification, pricing and a lead time we can hold to.
